I’m getting nothing but static on my PVR-250. I
think that it started when I switched to the 2.6.10-1.737_FC3 kernel, but
I’m not entirely sure (Didn’t watch TV or check it for a while in
there.) But it used to work fine, before all that. Changing
channels (either through Myth TV or ptune-gui.pl) doesn’t seem to do
anything. I have searched enough of the list to know about the “alias
tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv,” and while that did help the tuner detection
issue (I had that as well) it changed nothing with the static on every
channel. (Through the RCA jack, the card works fine, it works completely
under windows XP) I have a PVR-250 with the conexant cx23416-12 chip. The tuner module has a sticker that says NTSC/NTSC-J 32032
Rev B182. © 2002 Hauppage computer works. I am currently using the
“ivtv-0.3.2c-66.rhfc3.at” rpm from atrpms, but I have tried the 0.2
and the ck100zz versions as well, with no luck. ---/etc/modprobe.conf # ivtv modules setup alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv --- dmesg ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV
