I've got a PVR-500 and after making these changes I also get video and audio on the svideo0 input. The interesting thing, however, is that it only works on /dev/video1. On /dev/video0 I still get nothing but static. I'm not sure if I have the tuners wrong or if it's something else. I peeled back a sticker on one of the tuners and it looks like it's a Philips FQ1236 but I get /dev/video1 working with tuner type 47, which is an LG TAPE. I know Philips and LG are somehow associated, but I'm wondering if there are two different tuners on the card or if there is something else wrong.
