Hello,
I'm running into the same kind of problem your described as the "REG_DMAXFER wait failed", filling /var/log when playing video.
I also have a full 64bit system (Debian) with pvr350. I'm using ivtv 0.2.0-rc3c, because I found somewhere on the wiki that some people succeded on amd64 with it.
Still, I'm stuck for more than a week building my MythTV box :/
Since the beginning of January, did you find any usefull workaround to this problem?
Maybe joining our efforts could help making some progress on this issue.
Thanx, Eric ______________

Tests with firmware pvr_1.18.21.22254_inf.zip the thing went a little better.
There are no video dropouts. They are replaced by slowdown/speedups in about
2 second intervals. Sound seems not being affected.

I tested with firmware (pvr48wdm_1.8.22037.exe) which seems to solve the warning shown above. But there is no change.

Appended a partial /var/log/messages listing (debug=255 at ivtv load) with the
enc firmware version 2.05.032 (from pvr_1.18.21.22254_inf.zip). Hope that
helps tracking down the issue.
What else i can do to find a solution ?
regards Petric
