I currently have to play silly wotsits with the s-video input of my PVR-350 (seemingly dodgy RGB->s-video converter).

I've found I've had to script the hue/brightness/contrast settings (ivtvctl -y) that seem to work best and call this from mythtv upon channel change as it keeps flipping back to the defaults (even though, IIRC, ivtvctl -Y prints the values I gave it).

Is that right? Would I be better off passing the values into the kernel as module args. (syntax?)?

I'm also wondering whether the values are changing as I record, as I'm starting to notice that halfway through programs the setting don't seem to be working as well as I'd expect. What might cause these to change?

I'm using ATrpms' 0.1 series RPMs on FC3.
