Hi all,
I'm still trying to get my head around my non-working 150 PAL MCE card and have some questions about configuring the various modules.
First, on "http://ivtv.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html"; it says that "/etc/modules.conf" should have the line "options tuner type=2". What does this parameter (type) set? Is it documented anywhere?
Also, I find in the file "ivtv-0.3.2d/doc/README.cx25840" that: 'saa7127 support must be disabled for PVR150/500 cards', which is done with:
'Example: (3 cards, 350,250,150 in that order...) options saa7127 i2c_enable=1,-1'
What does the '-1' do? Disable? Or is the absense of a parameter the same as 'i2c_enable=0' i.e. disabling?
Setting i2c_enable to either '1' or '-1' seems to generate a lot of output in /var/log/messages...
Hope somebody can shed some light on this
