Yeah, I know. But with tuner type 51 I got much noise and the tuner
seems -very- sensitive to the PVR250 and the rest of the equipment
connected to the tuner cable. With tuner type 38 there is no noise and
quality on the 150 is as good as the 250. I did not however try tuner
type 51 with the kernel I'm using at the moment.
I assume your tuner isn't autodetecter either?

Rob, am I geting your are using tuner type 38 for your 150MCE. I've
got the same card, at least tveeprom shows me the same but I specified
tuner type 51 as in the docs.

tveeprom: audio_processor = MSP3415 (type = 6)
When I select the tuner type 38 everything works fine btw. so there are
no real problems.. I just don't get why the tuner is not found by ivtv
itself even though I think I live up to the requirements.. :(
