Well, ivtv's tuner.h has type 47 defined as TUNER_LGNTSC_TAPE which would make sense. Mind you I am using the kernels tuner because that's the one that works (which also know's about type 47).
Just for kicks, I tried type 39, but I got no sound, and the frequencies I had to use were still the same. I also tried type 27 (TUNER_LG_NTSC_FM), and that one seems to act the same as 47. So, is there somewhere I can adjust the frequency mapping?
