That's just the thing.. This has been driving me nuts all evening, it's the first time I am using knoppmyth, I have checked all startup scripts and config files but honestly can not find the module setting. > > ivtv: ivtv_enc_thread: pid = 6434, itv = 0xd0119920 > > ivtv: Switching standard to PAL. > > ivtv: Initialized WinTV PVR 150, card #0 > > ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ==================== > > > > The thing that troubles me is the tuner module setting the type to 2, > > and printing "type already set to 2, ignoring request for 55". It seems there is an "options tuner type=2" line somewhere. There isn't, this was the first thing I checked :( If anyone has any ideas on how to troubleshoot this, let me know I have tried the following : removed all ivtv and tuner modules from my system, rebooted, did a make install, modprobe ivtv by hand: same result. Also tried forcing the tuner to type=55 in modules.conf, same effect. Thanks for replying.
