I am also seeing what looks like encoder errors on a PVR150PAL.
Running ivtv-0.3.2h with Jarod's pal tveeprom patch, everything is
detected fine, and tuning seems to work great, except the picture
looks pretty bad. I am seeing a 'blocky' picture (tested with dd and
mythtv), especially around areas with movement. Bitrate is set to
4400000, 6000000 peak.

I currently have no idea what could cause it, the card works fine in
windows and a spare pvr350 works just fine in the box. test mpeg is
available at http://www.trantor.org.uk/~roel/test.mpg (~9MB)

I would appreciate ANY insights anyone can provide.
