I am also seeing what looks like encoder errors on a PVR150PAL. Running ivtv-0.3.2h with Jarod's pal tveeprom patch, everything is detected fine, and tuning seems to work great, except the picture looks pretty bad. I am seeing a 'blocky' picture (tested with dd and mythtv), especially around areas with movement. Bitrate is set to 4400000, 6000000 peak. I currently have no idea what could cause it, the card works fine in windows and a spare pvr350 works just fine in the box. test mpeg is available at http://www.trantor.org.uk/~roel/test.mpg (~9MB) I would appreciate ANY insights anyone can provide.
