Yep, I was getting ready to say that. I'm using a 700 Celeron with no
HD DMA. I run between 30 and 50% watching live TV. Software decoding is
out of the question. I was having DMA deadlock like problems. I'm
currently testing 3.2m, so far so good but its only been 30 min.

BTW release M appears to have fixed the corruption of the err ... err
mental jargon database error, one of the 3 video screens that the
pvr-350. the one that X shows on. Not the mpeg decoder or OSD. Frame
buffer?

Everything mostly looks good so far, although I am having a few
artifacts remaining on the screen when showing program guide/etc. This
might be a new mythtv issue. I haven't fully tested all the variables
yet.

Just thought of another thing, not sure if it's possible, but maybe
using the PVR-350 TVout for video, but piping the audio through a
soundcard... I don't think myth 0.17 supports this type of
configuration, but seems that it could be possible. Only problem is
the CPU overhead involved in that second processing of the mpeg data
for sound use, which takes away from the main advantage of using the
PVR-350 TVout to save CPU resources.
