[10:39] Chutt: don't use 2.6.10's kernel source on debian
[10:39] Chutt: unless they've fixed a rather major fuckup, you can't
compile any external modules with it

I don't use an smp kernel and have not installed a 0.3.x version of the
ivtv driver for a while.

I have been running 2.6.10-1-k7 since it made it's way into Debian and
compiling against /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.10-1-k7 with no problems
using just about every 0.2.0-pre and rc package I have tried.

So I don't know what this alleged major f*up is.

The only suggestion I have to offer is to switch to the
/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.10-1-686-smp directory make sure .config is
there and do 'make oldconfig' then try compiling the ivtv driver again.

Later, Seeker
