Aha, thank you for the pointer. I should probably read more carefully, read 
the entire thread, and then not reply before thinking. I'm now vaguely 
remembering seeing those type of warnings myself, but they didn't impact 
functionality at all, so I just didn't worry about them. Can't recall if they 
went away on the 2.6.11 kernel or not...
