I'm still having problems getting the remote to work with my pvr150.
Using ivtv 0.3.2-z
Card is :
tveeprom: Hauppauge: model = 26059, rev = C155, serial# = 7582954
tveeprom: tuner = Philips FQ1216ME MK3 (idx = 55, type = 38)
tveeprom: tuner fmt = PAL(B/G) PAL(I) SECAM(L/L) PAL(D/K) (eeprom = 0x74, v4l2 = 0x00400e17)
tveeprom: audio_processor = MSP3410D (type = 5)
ivtv: i2c attach [client=tveeprom[50],ok]

Using the latest lirc snapshot and the lirc_i2c module. Modprobing lirc_i2c gives me :
lirc_i2c: chip found @ 0x71 (Hauppauge IR (PVR150))
ivtv: i2c attach [client=Hauppauge IR (PVR150),ok]
lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin: sample_rate: 10

using the lircd.conf posted for the new Hauppauge grey remote.

After starting lircd I start irw but I don't see any keypresses being received.

I replaced the PVR150 with a PVR350 in the same machine, same ivtv driver, same lirc version, same lirc_i2c module and it does work, with irw and in mythtv.

Beginning to think there might be a problem with lirc and this specific pvr150 card?!. Maybe a different address for the ir connector???

The ir receiver that came with the PVR150 is one of those that also has an ir transmitter. I tried using that with the PVR350 and it didn't work either. But it probably isn't compatible anyway since the PVR150 ir conector has 4 rings while the one that came with the 350 only has 3 (350 is ir receiver only, 150 is also transmitter).

Anyone with ideas what to try next? Anyone got the remote to work with this specific card?

Steven
