So I needed to rebuild my mythtv box because of some other problems, so I thought this would be a good excuse to start from scratch with my pvr-500.
Now I've been following Jarod's guide with this install. I have to say that it is a great guide to have available to us. However, after following the 500 section verbatim, all I'm getting is static with no sound. Has anyone put together a howto, either using source tar's or rpm's that I can try? I don't care if the drivers are bleeding edge, or a little older. I'm also happy to provide any output from logs if someone thinks they can decipher what's going on.
