I have tried both 44 and 39 with no luck (both using us-cable and us-cable-hr settings in myth). when mythfrontend exists, I do see this:
Couldn't get the color key color, and we need it. You likely won't get any video. I'll poke around some myth sites to see if I can find out what that means. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brent Kilgore Sent: Saturday, April 30, 2005 7:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [ivtv-devel] PVR-350 w/ ivtv 0.2.x and 0.3.x get static only Ahh.. tuner 47, evil 47 ... Try putting 'options tuner type=44' (or type=39 if that doesn't work) in your modules.d/ivtv file. Also make sure ntsc(or whatever) and proper frequency table is set in mythtv-setup. I thought the 3.x fork depreciated this statement. I have never gotten around to removing it. I'll fight with that file again when I have to ... that's all I did for the first 3 weeks of my myth project :). You can try screaming at it and bouncing the mouse off the case then going to bed pissed. That's what finally got mine working :) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James Hood Sent: Saturday, April 30, 2005 3:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ivtv-devel] PVR-350 w/ ivtv 0.2.x and 0.3.x get static only Hello - this is my first post to the list though I've been following it for more than a year. Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can help out with this... your work and knowledge is greatly appreciated. I have and amd64 running Gentoo kernel 2.6.11 (gentoo-r6) and a new PVR-350. I first tried to emerge the latest stable ivtv drivers but got only static when trying to tune. Next, I downloaded the latest 0.3.x (0.3.3y) drivers, manually compiled and installed and I still get only static. dmesg is: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv:
