This sets up dynamic stream allocation for all the streams, this should really
help people who get memory allocation errors.
indeed. this is the first version that loads on my ubuntu install.
a simple "modprobe ivtv" worked and autodetected the card correctly.
i have a PAL card. sound is stereo and image good. tough sometimes i still have that nasty "double vision" effect.
i think that the volume is a bit low, event at the 65535 setting, but that's nothing new.

i haven't gotten vbi to work yet. but i don't know what i have to set up with all these vbi related switches in ivtvctl. after playing around a bit, "ivtvctl -K1" crashed (segfault) and and other call locked up (not even a "kill -9" helps), process marked as "D" in "ps ax"...
