c) Switching from YUV to MPEG decoding stops
subsequent YUV decoding from displaying anything.

This makes me understand a problem someone else was
seeing that didn't make sense to me. I'll take a look
later this week.

FYI: I have the same thing. I first have to decode mpeg before YUV decoding will work. then if I decode mpeg after having decoded YUV, any subsequent YUV decoding will produce a totally black screen.

I'm using .3.4p, as with the .3.5c I have terrible screen redraw (non redraw actually) problems, making everything unusable (PAL). ivtv tells me I'm overflowing the framebuffer with 1.6mb orso while only 1.3mb orso available..

when its decoding YUV, it looks darn fine though.
