I am going nuts trying to figure this out. To be honest, I'm not
entirely sure that it's the ivtv driver causing the problem... but this
is my first Hauppauge card; so I don't have any previous experience.
I'm using a PVR 150, and I've tried version ivtv-0.3.5e and ivtv-0.3.4k
of the driver with the same results. When I capture using 'cat
/dev/video0 > my.mpg' I get great video, but the audio is awful
(crackly, static, noise). I'm capturing using the composite a/v
inputs.
My system is running Debian (kernel 2.6.8-2-k7) on a ECS K7S5A Pro main
board (AMD 1800+ w/ 1GB DDR).
