Well, I have the same thing... I've been running an old 0.2 series and
decided to upgrade... didn't get things working until I found your
posting and moved the tuner.do aside and let the kernel version do its
thing.
Also, 0.3.5p glitched a lot, but 'r' seems pretty happy.
