Well, I finally got ivtvdev running on my gentoo-box. First I tried to
compile against the original xorg-source without success on loading the
module. Then I compiled against gentoos source, again no success.
Finally I removed the gentoos symlink /usr/X11R6 which points to back to
/usr and installed the original xorg into /usr/X11R6 and placed the
ivtvdev-driver at the given position. So now I enjoy a xv-driven X on my
TV :)

But now I got another problem for which I will open a new thread.
