I finally jumped from 0.3.2i or l to 0.3.6g. I didn't change my modprobe options. Here are my findings after a cold reboot: - takes time to switch channel (4-5 seconds). Frustrating. - 1-2 seconds after a channel changed, I have a short sound 'skip'. Happens on all channels - I can see the image being duplicated. It's not that disturbing but one can see an almost transparent copy of the image shifted about 1/4 or 1/3 of the screen. Happens with all channels. I also had a hard crash (with stack trace, then machine hang) in an interruption handler. Happened once at reboot. But I reboot 2 per month so not sure if it's a new or old problem. Nothing in syslog so I lost the stack trace :( All in all not sure if I want to stay with that version. I will try new ones more regularly.
