Thanks for the help. It is still not working but I am getting further.
It would appear that the capture card is now getting recognized, but I
am still not able to receive anything other then static.

What was happening is SUSE was helping me out. In other words the
modules were stored in a different location then where make install
was placing them. I had the same problem with the firmware, but didn't
think to look for more then one copy of the hardware modules.

Here is what dmesg is saying now.  Any ideas as to why I am getting
static and no sound?
