Hi, I'm trying to setup the tvout configuration for my pvr-350. Somewhere in the howto, I've to unload and load the saa7127 with a n argument:
"Now just a quick test. Hook up your TV set to the composite out RCA jack
of your PVR-350 and do this:
rmmod saa7127
insmod saa7127 enable_output=1 output_select=0 test_image=1"
Problems:
- The arguments aren't recognized. This is the output from dmesg:
"saa7127: unsupported module, tainting kernel.
saa7127: Unknown parameter `test_image'
saa7127: Ignoring new-style parameters in presence of obsolete ones
load_module: err 0xfffffffe (dont worry)"
and this is the output from the modprobe command:
"lilium:~ # modprobe saa7127 test_image=1
FATAL: Error inserting saa7127
(/lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/extra/saa7127.ko): Unknown symbol in
module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)"
Trying to load the module without any arguments work as expected, so I guess
that the problem is in the format of the arguments.
IMPORTANT THING:
I'm using suse!!!
