There were appearently several changes to multimedia support made to
9.3, unfortunatly I no longer have my 9.2 disks and therefore I am stuck
with 9.3. They have appearently moved several directories around. For
example the location where the modules need to go has changed
from /lib/modules/<kernel number>/ivtv to /lib/modules/<kernel
number>/extra. The firmware needs to go into two locations and they are
different then previous version also. The pvr 500 gets recognized as 2
150s and, as far as I can tell, seems to be correct. I do have different
options in my modprobe.conf.local file - I'll have to look at that.

I am beginning to believe that suse 9.3 is not the way to go. I would
have thought it might be a hardware conflict but I get the same behavior
on two different computers. I didn't see anything in the log files but I
really don't know what I am looking for, I only had a few minutes to
look at the latest logs. I have sense rebuilt and loaded the new drivers
and haven't looked at those logs yet. I am hoping to get to that
tonight.

Thanks
Brad
