I've encountered the same problem, and found no solution - so i gave up.
I made a 2 gb partition on a spare disk, and installed MS windows on it,
followed
by installing the drivers and the software for the PVR-350.
All it takes is to start the tv2000 application that is bundled with the
hardware,
close it - reboot to the GNU OS, modprobe ivtv and you get a pvr350
working.
Do this everytime you reboot your Linux machine.
if anyone knows other way, please let me know.
