Yes, I initialized the decoder first. I've seen some conversation re: not using the "GUI size for TV playback" option in MythTV. I tried this and still don't get any picture on the tv when playing back a video file (after initializing first). I didn't try unsetting the horizontal over/underscan and scan displacement in MythTV, however, without it MythTV will not be centered on my screen. Can I modify the position of the osd on my TV so I don't have to do it in MythTV? My knowledge of X and xv is very limited so examples would be very much welcomed. It sounds like other people in NTSC land are getting success with the driver so it must be something that I am not setting right on my end. Also, if there are any logs I can produce that might help in tracking down where my issues are let me know and I'll post them.
