Hello, I'm trying to get radio channels out of my Hauppauge card with no success at all. The card I bought is marketed as "WinTV Amity2" here in France (http://www.hauppauge.fr/pages/prod_mce_pro.html) but it seems to be a PVR-150MCE.
I first tried with ivtv-0.3.6z. I removed the corresponding modules from my kernel tree and loaded these from the ivtv build : [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# lsmod Module Size Used by ivtv 1341700 1 msp3400 28088 0 i2c_algo_bit 9096 1 ivtv videodev 7296 2 ivtv tuner 20644 0 wm8775 9240 0 tveeprom 12852 0 tda9887 13080 0 cx25840 42024 0 firmware_class 7680 1 cx25840 i2c_core 18064 7 msp3400,i2c_algo_bit,tuner,wm8775,tveeprom,tda9887,cx25840 ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.3.6 (z) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.11.6-kraxel1 PENTIUM4 gcc-3.3 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info ivtv: between the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines when ivtv: mailing the ivtv-devel mailinglist. ivtv: Autodetected WinTV PVR 150 card ivtv: Found an iTVC16 based chip ivtv: XXX PCI device: 0x1a30 vendor: 0x8086 cx25840: starting probe for adapter ivtv i2c driver #0 (0x10005) cx25840: detecting cx25840 client on address 0x88 cx25840: cx25843-23 found. I also tried with ivtv 0.3.4m which was the first version to include the Hauppauge patches for radio on PVR-150. All I get out of /dev/video0 and /dev/video24 is pure silence : [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# dd if=/dev/video24 of=/tmp/toto count=22500 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/# hexdump /tmp/toto 0000000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 * Has anyone ever managed to get radio with a PVR-150MCE ?
