Hi,

A strange problem occures using mythtv 0.18.1. I believe it is
located in the ivtv 0.2.0(rc3j) drivers.

When I am watching a previously recorded program from disk and a scheduled
recording starts then the whole system freezes. I can not ping or
ssh to it any more and the screen freezes.
This does not happen if I only do a recording. It also does not happen
after I reboot after a freeze. I can then watch and continue to record at
the same time.
So it seems to be related to the startup of the recording somehow ?

I have tried the version 0.3.3 (k) driver however that caused my system to
freezup
after a few minutes without doing anything.

I am using a shuttle barebone SHUTTLE INTEL S775 SS58G2, CPU is an INTEL Cel
D325J 2.53Gh 533/256 775 B,
Hauppage 350 and Nvidia FX5200 graphics card. I have attached the IVTV
output from /var/log/messages.

What would be a way to debug this ? The system seems to freeze up totally so
how can I get some
debug info out ? Any ideas of what is causing this ?
Any info would be appreciated.

Regards,
  Rob
