2) No sound on the second PVR500 tuner. Caused by incorrect cx25840
initialization. Copied the sequence from the Hauppauge driver I2C log. Fixed.
no problems anymore.
9) There were some reports on reduced video quality with the cx25840-based
boards. Is that still the case with the latest svn driver? Please check!
I havn't noticed it ghosting anymore.... All channels seem normal now. I
don't know if you did something or if was just going crazy, hopefully
somebody else will chime in on this.
Summary: 1 & 2 are fixed, 3-6 and 9 should be retested with the latest driver
and 8 is still pending but not a showstopper.
Please get the svn driver and test it, also if you had no problems with your
current driver version: I'd like to get as many people to test this as
possible. Release 1.3.9 should be a pretty stable release and I want to flush
the remaining bug from it as soon as possible. I really want to branch this
off and start with the 0.4 series.
Thanks,
Hans
the rest I havn't really had issues with or they didn't apply to me.
One thing that I did notice is that I no longer see message in the init
of ivtv about my 350's radio tuner anymore. However both my 350/500 work
when I
ivtv-radio -d /dev/radio0 -f 93.3
ivtv-radio -d /dev/radio1 -f 93.3
I just thought i'd point that out for the heck of it.
