Below is what I believe to be the relevant data from the

currently using ivtv.0.5.1. I have a PVR-500MCE card, and am trying
to get it working. I would greatly appreciate any information or
guidance anyone can give.

Hey Joey,
I'm still kind of green around here but I'm fairly certain the links
you made in /lib/modules should be in /lib/firmware, that should take
care of the firmware problems. As for the module problems I'm not so
sure... I'd check to make sure they exist first, you can use this:
# find /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/ -name tveeprom.ko
for tuner.ko as well. Did 'make install' give you any warnings about
pre-existing modules that you might have to get rid of or rename?
Barring that, did you run 'depmod -a' after installing the modules?

Ok, I think I've got better results now:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ivtv-detect
driver: ivtv-0.5.1 (tagged release)
card: WinTV PVR 150, bus info 0000:02:08.0, ivtv card #0
hardware: cx25840 tda9887 wm8775 tveeprom
/dev/video0: MPG encoding (links: /dev/video)
/dev/radio0: Radio (links: /dev/radio)
/dev/vbi0: VBI encoding (links: /dev/vbi)
/dev/video24: PCM encoding
/dev/video32: YUV encoding
driver: ivtv-0.5.1 (tagged release)
card: WinTV PVR 150, bus info 0000:02:09.0, ivtv card #1
hardware: cx25840 tda9887 wm8775 tveeprom
/dev/video1: MPG encoding
/dev/radio1: Radio
/dev/vbi1: VBI encoding
/dev/video25: PCM encoding
/dev/video33: YUV encoding
Assuming then that all is well, I'll try loading up the video in a
moment. Would someone be willing to share a working
/etv/mythtv/modules/ivtv config, specific to the United States with
digital/analog cable, without using a converter (consider it analog
cable if I understand it correctly)...
Joey
