I installed ivtv 0.4.0 the other day but gets a lousy picture quality, see <http://www.lysator.liu.se/~jonass/tmp/tv.png>. Did the card mix up the first and second subimage of interlace or what? I think I saw the same problem when using Windows but I do not know how it was fixed, maybe a reboot. I have not tried to reboot linux yet. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
I captured the video this way: ivtvctl -p6 ivtv-tune -teurope-west -cE6 cat /dev/video0 >my.mpg Then I used zplayer in Windows to do the snapshot. I can see the problem when playing the video both in zplay/windows and mplayer/linux.
