Just joined this maillist as I got troubles with getting ivtv drivers to
work with kernel 2.6.15, I have tried 0.4.1, 0.5.0, 0.5.1, 0.5.2 all with
more or less the same trouble.
Have tried to follwo all the instructions I have found, tried to find
people with the same problem in the maillists, without success. The card
works with ivtv driver (at least 0.4.0 and 0.4.1 compiles without errors)
under kernel 2.6.14.
my /etc/modules.d/ivtv looks like this:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
add above ivtv lirc_dev lirc_i2c

While loading modules there seems to be passed parm to it even if I don't
and I don't have anywhere that any parms are set or haven't tried to
modprobe with any, but it seems something tries to use the simple parm for
msp3400 and ivtv_std for ivtv (both parm are valid in older versions).
Would be nice if someone could give some help to get the PVR250 to work
under kernel 2.6.15.

Everything builds and I'm not depending on any of those drivers, so it's
not realy that important.
