Well, I have a VCR set up for recording movies and shows (Ok, I have a DVD
too, so I'm not totally in the stone age ;))

But I just wanted something for my desktop so I can watch a little history
channel or SpongeBob or the like, without too much trouble.

*Sigh* I suppose mplayer /dev/video0 will work until this TV Card thing
matures a bit with Linux.

Thanks for all your responses. I am actually relieved that it was not
something stooping I was doing wrong :)

Joe
