Dear IVTV, I just updated to IVTV 0.4.2 and it fixed my problem with missing sound on some channels (thanks!).
The problem is that the my MythTV audio/video playback is very choppy... almost unwatchable. The solution I searched out is to use nVidia drivers version 7676 or earlier (I was currently on 8178). When I installed 7676, some interesting things occurred: 1. Playback *was* noticably smoother 2. I could not play live TV because IVTV was incorrectly auto-detecting a PVR-250. It autodetected my PVR-150 just fine with nVidia 8178 after I removed the cardtype and tuner params 3. When I put my options ivtv cardtype=6 and options ivtv tuner=57 back into my modprobe.conf, I was able to successfully play live TV (PVR-150 detected), but I lost my sound on some channels again! 4. My TwinView output to the TV stopped working without complaining about anything. I'm caught in the middle here. Any ideas?
