I have tried this upgraded twice now with similar
results. I am following the instructions here and have double checked them
as I go.
I have a KnoppMyth R5a30.1 system with Single
PVR-150 retail onboard.
I am a Linux baby here.
I appreciate any help on this as the Wife is
already loves this "PVR thing" if you could only get it to control my Satellite
Box. I had tried a Windoze Platform solution and wasn't impressed(neither
was she with that one)
So here I am tyring to get the IR Blaster that came in the box working.
Why I started trying to upgrade the IVTV the
Capture worked fine before but I had to manually change Satellite box
channels.
At this point I cannot tie the Input device to the
Zap2it subscription which seems to be related to the IVTV output below from my
syslog.
It mentions here "...any module options..." I am
not sure what that means.
Appreciate any help here.
My Hardware is as follows:
Athlon XP 2200 on Gigabyte GA-7ZMMH
board
IDE0 20 Gig PATA-33
IDE1 DVD Burner
IDE2 250 Gig PATA-100
XFX Geforce FX 4000 s-video out.
PVR 150 Retail with IR Blaster and
Remote
1 Gig pc133 Ram.
On Board Sound.
Dish Network Sat. s-video out
Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
Not a barn burner but succesfully transcodes a
file, captures at 15000kbs, runs CommFlag and plays back a previous capture at
the sametime and doesn't sweat. Highest CPU I have seen is in the
neighborhood of 45%
