I have a PVR150 working on SuSE 10. One of the things I found when I set
mine up about a month ago was that there were sometimes reported issues
with symbolic links. I have simply copied the two files into my hotplug
directory:

sempron:/home/des/bin # l /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/
total 620
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root    192 Dec 28 18:17 ./
drwxr-xr-x  3 root root     72 Sep  9 09:42 ../
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     20 Oct 31 14:36 dvb-ttpci-01.fw ->
dvb-ttpci-01.fw-261f
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 234284 Sep  9 09:42 dvb-ttpci-01.fw-261f
-r--r--r--  1 root root 376836 Dec 28 11:59 v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw
-r--r--r--  1 root root  14264 Dec 28 14:34 v4l-cx25840.fw

With this, my card is working fine (on the 0.4.1 version).
