Hello all,

This is my first request and last ditch effort to get my PVR 150 working
on Suse 10 (or ANY distro). I have tryed several versions of IVTV but
have not been able to get it working. Please help, I've done endless
searches on the Net and feel I have gotten "close". My dmesg output is
listed below. At first I had difficulty changing to the newest version
of IVTV but as you can see below I have now got it to be recognized. The
problem seems to be with the lower section (encoders/decoders). One
thing I noticed that is suspect is that I could not establish the
"symbolic link" because there were some strange dvb drivers in the
firware hotplug directory. I've since removed them but have no idea how
to establish a symbolic link or what it means (sorry, I'm no expert in
Linux - A newbie who's been torchering himself for TOO long). I'm about
to by an Avermedia card.

It's been almost a year since I first decided to build a MYTHTV box and
purchased a Hauppage PVR 150. I have tried Fedora 4, Ubuntu 5.10, Suse
9.3, 10.0, and various versions of Knoppmyth.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Windows Media Center is junk but it
works in under 2 hours :(

Thank you for your time.

-Matt
