Has anyone got a suggestions on resolving this issue. It appears that everything loads correctly from dmesg.
I have tried cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg and all i get on playback is a black screen. TVTime says no signal ivtv:Invalid argument Cannot open capture device /dev/video0 MythTV Error getting inputs for the capture card. Perhaps you have forgotten to bind video sources to your card's inputs? /dev/video /dev/video0 /dev/video24 /dev/video32 all exist. I use a usb mouse so I tried the attaching a ps2 mouse for interrupt 12 work around I read somewhere. No go on that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have not been able to get video0 open through all the trouble shooting and tribulations regarding loading the firmware.
