Hi, I mailed this list that I had a problem to load the firmware. When I was searching in the archive, I found that I had to echo /sbin/hotplug in /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug because of a bug. This bug still isn't solved but I know how to get a step further. I also found out that I had to load the modules manually because ivtv can't do that by himself. But when I do modprobe ivtv, I still get the error that he can't load the other modules and it takes a verry long time to load ivtv. I can watch tv, but ivtv just should detect those modules. The modules are in /lib/modules/2.6.14-ck8-r2/extra/. This time I installed ivtv 0.4.2 with portage. This is my dmesg log:
