If the dkms package works on your system, then yes please! As you can see in the bugreport they favor to have all kernel drivers in the kernel package. I don't see anything wrong with this, but they *do* need to maintain these drivers (or remove them). As I can't work on the kernel package (it's (technically) locked for only a few mandriva employees to work on), I've found a way to get the ivtv drivers to work with DKMS. > I'm a software engineer > with years of user experience with Linux.
