Hello all.

I've installed a couple of PVR 350's under Ubuntu Breezy. (model 993).
Ivtv version 0.4.4 (tagged release).

The install seemed to go well, but i am having a problem playing back
mpeg2 files.

The files play fine, except the last few seconds of the file are not
played. (the video is cut short) This is happening on all mpeg2's I
have thrown at it. Havent tried an Mpeg1 yet.)

I am using OS X's Quicktime conversion under Final Cut Pro to produce
.m2v (constant bitrate) and .wav files, which I then multiplex as
follows:

$ mplex -f 3 -r 6500 -b 500 multitext.m2v multitext.mp2 -o zerobuf.mpeg

However, the result is the same regardless of the mpeg2 file I use. (I
downloaded some off the internet archive).

I am playing the files using cat filename.mpg > /dev/video16

If I play the same file in mplayer or vlc to an X window, the entire
file is played.

A little stumped here, and would appreciate any advice...

Many thanks,

Ben
