Niels,
Thanks for the response.

I understand you have TV working, but that you have a
problem with
sound.

I broke this going to the testing branch at atrpms!

I can format and get back to where I was though if it
a good starting point.

* All modules have loaded correctly
According to dmesg things are working fine when I
modprobe.

* In your MythTV settings have you enabled the PVR-350
for TV-Out and
disabled the option to do sound only through the
PVR-350?
Yes and Yes

* Have you looped back the PVR-350 audio-out to the
input of your sound
card?
Yes, I know that this is necessary for when you do the
above.

* Did you check (eg with alsamixer) that all audio
settings are correct
(no mute/...).
I can play other sounds such as music and the dings
associated with kde work fine.

I ran mplayer /dev/video0 and did not get sound from
my PVR350
I also ran mplayer /dev/video1 for my PVR250 and did
not get any sound.

I formatted and started fresh and still run into the
same brickwall. When I updated v4l with the rpm from
testing I regained sound but lost my tv-out. It maybe
my kernel version... what version are you running?
Thanks again,
Chad

Yep. No problem here.

problem with
sound. Just to be sure:

* All modules have loaded correctly
* In your MythTV settings have you enabled the PVR-350
for TV-Out and
disabled the option to do sound only through the

* Have you looped back the PVR-350 audio-out to the
