Suddenly I started seeing a lot of warnings, such as ivtv0 warning: prep_user_dma: SG_length 336 page_count 336 still full? ivtv0-osd warning: ivtvfb_prep_dec_dma_to_device, Error with get_user_pages: 720896 bytes, 336 pages returned ivtv0-osd warning: Error: prep osd dma to device rc=-5 ivtv0-osd warning: DMA xfer from b7e4a808 of 720896 bytes failed with (-5) offset = 0xa1800, total 1382400
I am using PVR-350 TV-out. Even switching back to the TV-out on my Pundit does not help. MythTV has become extremely unstable, freezing every 10-15 minutes and choppy video, etc... I upgraded ivtv* from 0.6.1 to the 0.7-111 from atrpms, but it did not help. Any Ideas. I have searched the archives and seen emails with similar issues, but no solutions So its either trivial and a no-brainer to fix this, hence, not worthy of replying to those emails or nobody knows thanks - Abhi > uname -a Linux stokes 2.6.16-1.2096_FC4 #1 Wed Apr 19 15:27:46 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux > rpm -q ivtv ivtv-0.7-111.rhfc4.at > dmesg May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: version 0.7.0 (development snapshot compiled on Sun Apr 23 00:04:16 2006) loading May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.16-1.2096_FC4 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-4.0 May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info between May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines, along with May 9 01:39:23 stokes kernel: ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist.
