Hi,

I’ve seen the posts on the IVTV_IRQ_DEC_DMA_ERR problem, but not seen any

comments on it, except for the one that it could be resolved by disabling hardware in

the bios.

I have a dual cpu Kayak XM600. I can see that my PVR-350 is on IRQ 19, together

with uhci_hcd:usb1. Disabling USB in the BIOS, however, does not solve the problem.

Neither does disabling the irqbalancer daemon, by the way…

One more thing : the problem only occurs when I use the xorg.conf file containing the

sections to use the ivtv x driver for X output on the PVR-350. Even before starting

mythbackend/mythfrontend these errors appear in dmesg, so I‘m thinking the problem

might be related to just the x driver.

Can anyone confirm this, please ?

Is there a _good_ way how to go about getting relevant debugging info ?

Before flooding this list with potentially unuseful log output, I’d like to hear from

anyone who has any ideas about this problem.

Thanks,

Hans
