I upgraded to 0.6.2 and my PVR350 and PVR500 worked.
After playing around on Windows (wintv2000) and after a very long cold-boot the 
second tuner of the PVR500 only gives static:
Reverting to 0.4.2 and every thing is working.

Is there an issue with 0.6.2 initializing or changing channels ?
Strange is that the detected fromat is NTSC-M (instead of PAL) it was always 
correctly identified (card #2). Is this line of special concern, because the 
'specified standard' is PAL ?
Also strange is that it reports Composite 7: how is it possible that card #1 
(first tuner of PVR500) with the same setting reported works.

I checked the version of ivtvctl:
