David (and Dan), Thanks, it works with option tuner=50
Before i gave up and re-installed MythDora from scratch, I did actually try the 0.4.5 driver, and my card was unrecognized there as well. I'll probably give the next version a show when it comes out, but meanwhile, option tuner = 50 seems to do the trick. Thanks again.
