Thanks for the reply Hans! I checked and both cards have the saa7129, so this must not be the problem. It's interesting that I haven't had problems with the saa7127 module all along. According to Hauppauge they haven't changed anything on the cards recently, and all the chips appear to be the same on both. I'll get the new card replaced and see if that does the trick.
