What MythTV version are you using? As far as I can tell both
MythTV-0.18.1 and 0.19 do the right thing, so I expect no problems
there. Do you see any messages in the kernel log? When you use xine or
mplayer instead of MythTV and while capturing change channels, does
that work too?
I assume that you know that the inputs changed early in the ivtv-0.4
series, so in MythTV you have to update the inputs (see also the notes
in the ivtv README file).
