Not needed. Just try to call the new ioctl. If it isn't available you'll
get an error.
Note that I will adapt all existing ivtv drivers (0.4 and onwards) to
also support this new API. So once MythTV is converted it will work
with all kernels provided you have installed the latest ivtv for that
kernel.
