Hans, Last night I downloaded and installed the 0.4.tar.gz. Everything worked great. The channel changing is now working very well. (0.4.5 was giving me channel change problems.) Sound and video are good. I did not test test the VBI features. (Is that the closed captioning stuff?)
I built debian packages based on the packages at hellion.org and installed following the ubuntu install instructions. My hardware is: MSI K8NGM2-FID dual core AMD3800 Hauppauge 500 with the Samsung tuner Software is: Fresh Dapper Drake amd64 install. mythtv built as .deb packages from a recent 19.x -fixes snapshot (compiled to support nvidia XVMC and firewire to cable box.) 2.6.15 K8 kernel binary from ubuntu with the ubuntu nvidia .debs I am in the US and using us-cable.
